Emergency First Response (EFR)

This course encompasses CPR skills, and First Aid training.

Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet program pre-requisistes, such as PADI Rescue Divers, or as preparation to become a PADI Divemaster.

However, most have also found the EFR program to be important in every day life. They have taken a significant step in emergency prepareness, and make one feel confident to use their skills.

Depending on the amount of independent study, the Primary Care and Secondary Care may be completed in as little as four to six hours. After independent study you will be prepared for a classroom and hands-on skill development and realistic scenario practice with your instructor. You will learn the same patient care techniques used by medical professionals, but at a personal level.

This is an international recognised first aid course which needs to be refreshed every 2 years.

You may also participate in an emergency oxygen provider course. (Additional)
